The solution engineering function focuses on productizing integration of NextLabs platform with various enterprise applications, such as, ERP, CRM, PLM, ECM applications. It also manages the custom development activities as an extension of NextLabs products for various customer needs at both pre-sales and post-sales stage.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a loosely structured organization, and be capable of working on a number of assignments in parallel.

Responsibilities include:

• Study assigned enterprise systems and understand how NextLabs technology can be integrated.
• Discuss with Product Management and establish the Functional Spec and the Design Documents for the solution.
• Define, design, and develop solution and related components such as Policy Assistants, extensions, customized workflow etc. Design and conduct integration with the key information depositories and identity management systems.
• Deliver best in class architecture, solution, and code for the solution.
• Take the lead on enhancing the performance and scalability of the solution.
• Guide Quality Assurance team for the necessary testing.
• Work with Customer Support to ensure solution is supportable.

·         Coordinate with other technical teams including the NextLabs China and US teams to ensure compatibility with other NextLabs components and deliver as an integrated solution. 

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in computer science or electrical engineering.
• Strong software engineering skills (5+ years) in Java, Java standalone applications, Java web services (JAX-RPC, JAXB, XML, WSS).
• Creating business web application solutions in a J2EE environment, using Java, JSP, Servlet, JSF, and/or JDBC technologies is a plus.
• Strong Object-oriented analysis and design skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Java performance, profiling tools.
• Building applications encompassing user management, authentication, and access control; knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory/Radius is a plus.
• Experience with PLM systems, such as, Enovia, Teamcenter, Windchill is a plus.
• Experience with mixed mode .NET/J2EE web services is a strong plus.
• Self-starting and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Passionate, proactive, great team player.
